Abcite ® - this finish gives the highest level of corrosion protection. Fusion bonded to a galvanized base giving excellent lifetime protection, this special powder coating, developed by the DuPont Company, has been in use on traffic products for over a decade now and can be supplied in a wide range of British Standard or RAL colours, although black or grey are the most popular. This type of finish is virtually maintenance free for many years, can be repaired if accidentally damaged, and is ideal for polluted or particularly demanding environments (e.g. marine).
Abcite ® Root (TRP2) - this fusion bonded system fully protects the column root both internally and externally and is unique to Mallatite. Applied automatically under strictly controlled conditions this system has all the benefits of an Abcite ® coated column around the critical root area.
